ಮೂರು ಮರಿ ಗೂಬೆ !
ಬಣ್ಣ ಬಣ್ಣ ಗೂಬೆ,
ಮೂರು ಮರಿ ಗೂಬೆ!
ಆಟವಾಡಲೆಂದೆ,
ಅಡವಿ ಸೇರಿದವಂತೆ.
ಬಣ್ಣ ತುಂಬಿದೆಲೆ,
ಬಲಿತ ಕಪ್ಪು ರೆಂಬೆ.
ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತ ಗೂಬೆ,
ನೀಲ ವರ್ಣ ಗೂಬೆ!
ಅದರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ,
ಹಚ್ಚ ಹಸಿರು ಗೂಬೆ!
ಅಕ್ಕಪಕ್ಕ ಚಿಟ್ಟೆ!
ಮೋಡ ತುಂಬ ಮಳೆ!
ಒಂಟಿ ಕಾಲಲಿ ನಿಂದೆ,
" ಸರ್ಕಸ್ ಆಟ ವಲ್ಲೆ !"
ಎಂದ ಹಳದಿ ಗೂಬೆ,
ಹಾರಿ ಹೋಯಿತಂತೆ !

The Three Little OWLS!
Three little Owls,
Colourful little Owls,
Went to play and wander,
In the forest yonder.
Stood the tall dark trees,
Thick with colourful leaves.
Blue owl with a hop,
Perched on the top.
Green owl on his crown,
Made him slightly frown.
Butterflies fluttered 'flip flop',
Clouds held the rain drops.
Balancing on one leg,
'Circus isn't for me I beg'!
Said the tiny yellow Owl,
Flying away to his tree hole!
